Ghana: Political Parties Satisfied With Bio-Metric Registration Exercise So Far

Four major political parties have expressed satisfaction with the ongoing biometric voter's registration exercise being undertaken by the Electoral Commission. Representatives of the New Patriotic Party, National Democratic Congress, Progressive People's Party and the Convention People's Party told Multi TV's Joy News TV although it is a little too early, they are so far impressed with the state of affairs as regards the ongoing exercise except for pockets of issues which have been reported to their respective offices.

The acting Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, James Asante said the party was pleased the exercise has been largely incident free considering the fact that it is the first of its kind.
