Angola: Army General Staff Regrets Air Force's Board Technician

Luanda — The General Chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda regretted on Saturday here the death on Wednesday of the board technician, Manuel Andre, following a plane crash.

According to a note of condolence addressed to the mourning families, General Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda said that it was with deep regret that he learned of the plane crash occurred in Cachiungo district, central Huambo province.

The condolence message reads that the General Chief of Staff of FAA informs that the unexpected death of Captain Manuel André leaves a void in the Angolan Armed Forces and particular in National Air Force.

"At this time of sadness and regret, I come on my own behalf, in the name of the general officers, admirals, senior officers, captains, sergeants, soldiers and civil employees of FAA, to express our feelings of grief and render our tribute to the son of this country who was serving a mission for the nation", reads the note.
