The medical superintendent at Murchison Bay Hospital Luzira Prisons has advised Government to invest in the management of tuberculosis (TB) in prisons so as to eradicate the disease.
Dr Joseph Andama Oluka says TB prevalence in detention facilities is two to five times much higher than the one in the national average, which requires immediate intervention.
