Angola: Nation Present At Women's Federation Congress in Brazil

Brasilia — The 15th congress of the International Democratic Federation of Women (IDFW), gathering over 100 women from various parts of the world, started last Sunday, in Brazil, ANGOP has learnt.

Angola is being represented by about 15 delegates, among them members of the executive committee of the ruling MPLA female and youth wings, namely OMA and JMPLA, non governmental organisations and other entities.

The congress is taking place under the theme "Women from all over the world, building a just peace, with rights, equality and development".

Under debate are themes linked to the capitalist crisis and its impact on women, climate changes, food security, equality, development and peace for women.
