Higher Education minister Margaret Kamar has asked the private sector to support the government's efforts to address the accommodation crisis in public universities.
She said the private sector should invest in the construction of hostels to accommodate the rising number of students joining institutions of high learning to supplement government efforts. The minister said the accommodation situation in public and private institutions is dire, adding that the public private partnership will be the only solution to the problem.
