Angola: Tax Revenues Rise to 82.32 Percent in First Quarter

Huambo — The finance provincial office of Huambo collected the first quarter of this year, about AKz 1 billion, representing an increase of around 82,32 percent in the first quarter of this year, reported Wednesday in this city, the delegate of the sector, Vitoria Teixeira Diogo.

Speaking to ANGOP, the provincial delegate of Finance in Huambo, said that it previewed to collect in the first quarter of this year, over one billion Kwanzas, against 781 million Kwanzas collected in the same period of 2010.

Victoria Diogo assured that the timely payment of taxes on labour income, industrial, land, stamp and consumption and other local services contributed to the rise in revenues in the first quarter of 2012 in the central province.
