Namibia: Elephants Plunder Maize Fields in Caprivi

Windhoek — Inhabitants of several villages in the Kongola Constituency in the Caprivi Region have appealed for government assistance after elephants destroyed scores of maize fields in the area recently.

Although the jumbos have been living in the area for a very long time, residents say this has been the most problematic time.
