Egypt: 18.5 Percent Increase in Exports in 2011

Industry and Foreign Trade Minister Mahmoud Eissa said that the Egyptian exports scored an increase of 18.5 percent in the year 2011, totaling LE 131 billion compared to LE 115 billion in 2010.

In his speech before a symposium on raising economic efficiency of exports, the minister said exports are basic for boosting economy despite the present economic and social challenges.
