No fewer than 79 Nigerian athletes have so far qualified to represent the country in different sports at the forthcoming 2012 London Olympic and Paralympics Games.
Disclosing this at a media briefing in Abuja yesterday, Chairman of the Advisory and Coordinating Committee for Nigeria's participation at the games, Mallam Alhassan Yakmut, explained that the athletes are currently undergoing intensive training at various camps ahead of the quadrennial sports event.
