A comedy based on Homer's classic Iliad is on stage at Harare's Reps Theatre this week, ideal family entertainment for the holiday season from The Repertory Players. The Hysterical History of the Trojan War was written by D M Larson and has been directed by Sue Bolt, featuring Reps' junior theatrical group, the Repteens, on stage and backstage.
The play is described as "an hilarious romp through Homer's Iliad" and tells the story of the kidnap of the famous Helen, her long stay in the city of Troy and the 10-year was that followed her kidnapping.
