New York — UNICEF said today it had joined the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) to improve public accessibility to information on how aid is spent.
UNICEF joints the World Bank, Britain's Department for International Development, the African Development Bank, the European Commission and others in the initiative. By creating common standards for sharing information about aid, IATI will make that information much more accessible to all.
