Gambia: Biko Puts Wallidan to Sword

Two late goals from Steve Biko wonder aces did the ultimate damage on faltering capital-based club Wallidan as the Bakau side continues to right the wrongs that nearly show them make the drop last year in the league.

Modou Jallow broke the deadlock in the 60th minute of the second half after a 0-0 tie in the first-half. Wallidan initially looked aggressive at defense before the opener with midfield defender Wuyeh Sey unarguably the standout on the back four. But a re-energized Steve Biko attack proved constant menace and their toils paid off in the 60th when Wallidan stopper goalkeeping gaffe gifted Modou Jallow had a chance to slot home.
