FUEL supplied to the country between December last year and February this year had legally acceptable levels of oxygen content of not more than 1.04 per cent which many oil marketing companies imported prior to commencement of bulk procurement.
Swiss-based August Energy Managing Director, Giuseppe Nestola said in letters addressed to Petroleum Importation Coordinator and Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) last week while responding to complaints raised by oil marketing companies that substandard commodity was delivered between December 2011 and last February.
