Kano — A committee for Monitoring Learning Achievement (MLA) in Kano State has found out that only one per 114 primary school teachers, who are currently teaching in public schools in the state, are qualified.
The committee disclosed this yesterday during the presentation of a draft report to the state's Educational Sector Steering Committee at a meeting chaired by Kano State Commissioner of Education, Barrister Faruk Iya.
