Eritrea: Residents of Hagaz Carry Out Soil and Water Conservation Activities

Hagaz — The residents of Hagaz are carrying out soil and water conservation activities 3km. away from the town around Ad-Nisur area.

Among the nationals, Mr. Ali Saleh and Ms. Fatna Mohammed Idris pointed out that the popular undertaking emanated from the community's awareness as regards soil and water conservation and that the people are taking active participation in the task.

Mr. Mohammed Adem, Administrator of Harnet district in Hagaz, indicated that the residents have equally been engaged in assisting families of martyrs. He further explained that water diversion walls have been built in 50 hectares, and that the remaining task would target 100 hectares.
