Tunisia: Sentences Reduced for Airline Personnel Involved in 2005 Crash

Last Thursday, the court of Palermo, Italy reduced the sentences of seven Tunisian airline personnel charged in connection with the crash of flight 1153 in 2005, which resulted in 16 fatalities.

The seven staff members, including the captain, co-pilot, chief executive, technical chief, and three technicians, managed to receive reduced sentences following their second appeal to the court.
