Principals, bursars and secretaries of the 104 unity colleges have been directed to begin the procurement processes for implementing capital projects in the 2012 Budget recently approved by President Goodluck Jonathan.
But the directive from the Federal Ministry of Education might be coming a bit late, as the Director General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Engr. Emeka Eze, said yesterday in Abuja that seven ministries have finished procurements for the year in line with a circular issued in December to all Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
