Bank Group Ombudsperson and Mediator, Amabel Orraca-Ndiaye, last Friday in Tunis, released the 2011 Annual report for her office. The report takes stock of the year's activities and points to key factors that would contribute in nurturing a safe and challenging work environment. These, she said: "will enable staff and management take risk, learn and unleash potential."

She went on to say: "We have no choice but to be individually and collectively responsible for managing personal conflict, adopting communication style that shows respect and motivate others. We should adhere to the Staff Code of Conduct and refrain from behaviors that create fear, distrust, that marginalize others from offering their due to the continent."
