Tunisian airline Tunisair signed a partnership agreement with the Belgian tour operator Thomas Cook on Thursday, April 19th.
According to TAP, Rabah Jerad, CEO of Tunisair, and John Ysenbrandt, general director of Thomas Cook Tours, finalized an accord affording a privileged status to Tunisair on regular and charter flights for three years.
The agreement aims at organizing joint promotional campaigns to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and to dispel post-revolutionary rumors in Europe concerning the security situation in Tunisia.
Additionally, as reported by TAP, Ysenbrandt stated that Tunisia ranks fourth, after Turkey, among the 70 destinations served by Thomas Cook.
