THE lion's share of funds for the Ministry of Veterans' Affairs for the 2012/2013 financial year will be used to pay at least 15 000 veterans as a form of recognition for their contribution to the national liberation struggle.
In contrast, a mere N$2 million of the total budget of more than N$1 billion is set aside to continue building and renovating houses for eligible veterans throughout the country.
