Eritrea: National Construction Companies Ensure Reliable Basis for Development of Professionalism - Youth Workers

Massawa — Youth workers in Musa-Ali Construction Company said that national construction companies have provided reliable basis for enhancement of professionalism through exchange of practical knowledge and experience.

Among the youths, Mr. Beshir Awelkier and Mr. Filipos Goitom, expressed conviction that initially they had no adequate skills in joining the company, and that they have now mastered plumbing and electricity thanks to the training courses the company provided.

In the same vein, Mr. Abraham Tesfai and Mr. Merhawi Gebreyesus said that they have acquired competence in all construction-related skills as a result of the knowledge and experience gained from senior co-workers.

Mr. Efrem Tsehaye, an electrical engineer in the company, indicated on his part that almost all the youths have become multi-professionals, thus demonstrating the company's adaptability in creating conducive environment for exchange of knowledge and experience.

Mr. Filmon Mehretab, Administration head of Musa Ali Construction Company, asserted that the company, like all the national construction companies, has been self-reliant through giving priority to human resource development and nurturing the sense of commitment to career.
