Nigeria: Police Say Three, Not Seven, Killed in Ankpa Robbery

Lokoja — The Kogi State Police Command has said that only three persons were killed in the Wednesday operation in Ankpa in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the state's Police Command, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi, who addressed newsmen yesterday, refuted reports that seven people were killed in the robbery operation. He said eight people were hit by stray bullets, but that it was three out of them that died.
