Angola: Importance of Dance in Strengthening Culture Highlighted

Huambo — The head of the department of arts and cultural action in Huambo Province, Victorina Navimbi, on Thursday in Quissala locality highlighted the importance that dance has in the strengthening of a people's culture.

Speaking to ANGOP, on the fringe of a meeting with trainees of the Teachers of the Future School, which served to mark the opening of the celebrations of the international dance day, to be marked on April 29, Victorina Navimbi stressed that dance has a great importance in a variety of music genres and it helps the singer on stage to attract the attention of the audience.
