Ghana: MP, Assembly Members Clash At Meeting

Kumasi — THE NEW Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for the Sekyere South Constituency, Mr. David Hendrich Agyei Yeboah, was found wanting last Tuesday, when members of the assembly demanded an unqualified apology from him for disdainful conduct towards them.

The MP, who was briefing the assembly on a Parliamentary report on the number of bills passed by the Parliament during the last sitting, raised concerns about the description of projects initiated through the MP's Common Fund and Ghana Education trust Fund (GETfund) as shoddy by the assembly members, and therefore, did not last to serve their purpose.
