27 April 2012

Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has said he will quit politics if he fails to get elected president in the general election. Speaking at Simoti AIC church in Konoin district, Kalonzo said he is the man to beat in the presidential race.

He said having served in the government for 27 years he has no doubt that he will become the country's next president. He, however, added that he fails in his bid, he will quit politics and become an international diplomat. "I have made up my mind that for these 27 years that I have been in politics that if don't become the president, I will retire with President Kibaki from politics," he said.
