Namibia: Auto Show Coming Soon

This year, the annual Standard Bank Namibia Auto Show which will be hosted in partnership with Biltong Fees, will take place on 6 and 7 July at the SKW Sports Field in Olympia.

The event, which has grown in numbers since its inception in 2006, last year attracted a total of 15 321 visitors. This year, organisers hope to attract about 20 000 visitors on the two-day auto display show.

Speaking at the launch of this year's show, the managing director of Standard Bank, Mpumzi Pupuma said that they are expecting up to 65 exhibitors displaying merchandise from as small as passenger vehicles to expensive cars and trucks, and this, he says, is as a result of the change in venue.

On display will be about 250 new cars, motor cycles and boats. Standard Bank has also invited other auto-related companies to display their merchandise.
