East Africa: Regional Parliament Seeks Transfer of Kenya Cases From ICC

THE East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) has passed a resolution, seeking transfer from the International Criminal Court (ICC) of the cases involving four Kenyans allegedly linked to crimes committed during violence after December 2007 presidential election.

In the resolution adopted Thursday, the EALA has recommended the cases should be heard by the East African Court of Justice (EACJ).
