analysis

The line-up of speakers and sessions for the OpenForum in Cape Town is almost complete. Co-hosted by the four Open Society Africa Foundations, the OpenForum was always intended to bring different groups together and (as you'll see from the list of speakers) we've got activists, artists, academics, policy-makers and businesspeople from across the continent, as well participants from Brazil, India and China - all of them coming to discuss the factors that will influence Africa's democracy, development, human rights and governance agenda over the next decade.

Topics of debate range from Funding Africa's Development to the Politics of Sexual Pleasure, from Exploding the Myths about China and India in Africa to a New Generation of Artists and Activists Talk Politics - and many many more.
