Kaduna — Kaduna State government has concluded arrangement to purchase 50 buses at the cost of N375 million, the state Commissioner for Works and Transport Mr. Sulaiman Yahaya Richifa has said.

Briefing newsmen on the activities of his ministry, the commissioner said the buses will include 35 Toyota Hiace and 15 luxurious buses.

He said the buses would be used to augment the ones in the state transport authority to boost transportation in the state.

"The vehicles are going to be used for both intra-city and interstate transport services to address the problem transportation in the state," he said.

He said the state government has 21 projects ongoing across the state aimed at opening up the state for businesses to thrive.
