Former banker David Kimosop is the new Kerio Valley Development Authority chief executive officer. Kimosop was the top candidate at interviews and vetting conducted by the KVDA board, which is chaired by Joyce Emanikor.
He formerly worked with the Kenya Commercial Bank and he has already taken over from acting managing director Francis Kipkech, who has now been redeployed as chief technical and operations manager at the parastatal. The position of deputy CEO has been scrapped. "Yes, I have handed over to Kimosop and taken over my new position at the same time," said Kipkech yesterday.
