Angola: Petro De Luanda Sack Coach Alberto Babo

Luanda — The Portuguese Alberto Babo was sacked as the coach of the senior males basketball team of Petro de Luanda, Angop learnt on Wednesday from an official source.

According to the source, the players were only informed about the coach's dismissal on Wednesday morning before the training session.

Angop learnt that the assistant coach Manuel da Silva will be the caretaker of the team until the end of the season.

Petro de Luanda occupy the third position in the national championship with 5 points in a competition led by 1º de Agosto with seven points.
