Nigeria: Jonathan Leaves for Senegal Today

President Goodluck Jonathan will depart Abuja for Dakar today to attend an Extra Ordinary Summit of the Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the one-day summit would discuss the political developments in the ECOWAS states of Guinea Bissau and Mali. NAN reports that all the Heads of State and Government of the 15-member ECOWAS nations were expected to attend the meeting.

In the sideline of the summit, the president would hold bilateral talk with the newly elected President of Senegal, Mr Macky Sall.
