Tanzania: Villager Arrested for Alleged Rape

A resident of Emarti Village in Kiteto District, Manyara Region is being held by the police allegedly for raping a six year child.

The suspect Maine Chomora (33) is reported to have ambushed the child along the village road on April 25 this year at 8pm and raped her on the spot. The little girl was sent by her mother to a shop.
