Benguela — The deputy minister of Youth and Sports, Job Capapinha, was pleased with the repair works underway at "Bairro da Juventude", on the outskirts of the capital of central Benguela province.
Job Capapinha, who was speaking at the end of one more visit to the project, as part of "Angola Jovem" programme, said that the visit followed the recommendation by the minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, at the official delivery of houses that prompted some complaints.
The hand-over of houses at "Bairro da Juventude" happened in February, during a ceremony presided over by the Youth and Sports minister, Gonçalves Muandumba.
In paying for the houses, beneficiaries are supposed to deposit AKz 26,000 every month with the Credit and Savings Bank (BPC), over a period of 20 years.
Accompanying the vice minister in the two-day visit, was Benguela vice governor for Political and Social Affairs, Eleizeu Epalanga, the province's headquarters district administrator, Leopoldo Muhongo, and officials of the sector.
