Kenya: Lawyer Charged With Fraud in a Kitui Court

A case in which an advocate is charged with defrauding a German couple more than Sh600,000 has been transferred to the Kitui senior principal magistrate's court.

Kitui-based advocate, Joseph Muinde, had earlier been charged in a Mutomo court about 90km from the town. The complainant successfully pleaded with the Mutomo senior resident magistrate Samuel Mutahi for the case to be transferred to Kitui.
