Caála — Angolan writer João Portelinha released Tuesday in Caála, central Huambo province, his 16th book entitled "O dia em que um Ngola descobriu Portugal".
The novel tells facts and tales of Queen Nzinga Mbandi, her paternal and maternal ancestors and the trip of her son (Nganga Zumba) to Brazil where he fought against the Portuguese, Brazilians and Dutch to ensure social stability in Angola.
João Portelinha, who is also a lecturer at the Law Faculty of José Eduardo dos Santos University, is the author of 15 works, among novels and other literary works.
