Nigeria: NJC Reinstates Salami, Asks for Jonathan's Approval

The National Judicial Council (NJC) yesterday formally reinstated the president of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Isa Salami, who was suspended from office almost nine months ago.

This followed the recommendation of a three-member panel set up by the NJC and led by a justice of the Supreme Court, Mariam Aloma-Muhktar.
