Windhoek — With the new kids on the block, sparks are expected to fly this year when it comes to the Hip-Hop, RNB and Dancehall trio singers of R.O.G, Aunne and Guilty.
Spokesperson R.O.G. says the group connected last June when the current manager of DD Finest, Antonio Dragan, invited him to work with Aunne and Guilty to form the trio, DD Finest. The genius group that made a name for itself has promised to give Namibian fans classic, prodigy and superior music with a great message. Not long enough after the group has gotten together they are already making a name all over the country working with big names such as Jericho, who is featuring on their upcoming single which is undergoing its final touches. Antonio says they are only finalising its mastering after which it will air on all radio station and televisions.
Meantime, they have a single out already, Holike Wange (My love) that's currently enjoying massive air play all over the country. The song together with a video was released last month. It's produced by M-Jay and the video was shot by Maya Neto. For the past two weeks it has been number one on One Africa Television's on Yo Music Countdown programme.
R.O.G says they are aware of the music industry which is very challenging at the moment. Since they have just popped up in the industry, they will try all their best to be professional until they reach what they are craving for.
Their first album is due for release later this November by popular demand by fans. They will work with Sunny Boy, Jericho, Tequila and many more upcoming artists on the album. They will also join MTC NAMAs award next year in the category of Newcomer, Best Hip-Hop and Best RNB.
Antonio says the working relationship is very good without any problems on this project promising fans nothing but the best.
