Angola: Public Health Masters Get Diplomas

Luanda — Fifteen Public Health physicians received Friday in Luanda their master's degrees diplomas, during a ceremony chaired by Health minister, José Van-Dúnem.

The masters newly and first trained in Angola attended a-four year training jointly run by the Health Ministry of Angola and the Brazilian National Public Health School, Fiocruz.

According to Judith Armindo Venancio, one of the graduates, the Course represents the first Brazilian experience in the field of Health held in Angola.

The certificates hand-over ceremony was witnessed by, among others, the secretary of State of Science and Technology, João Teta, the assistant of the Brazilian Embassy to Angola, Djalma da Silva, directors of Luanda hospitals, university lectures and physicians.
