Nigeria: Cabotage Fund - One Shipping Company to Get N4 Billion

Each of the eight indigenous shipping companies that will benefit from the $150 million Cabotage Vessels Financing Fund (CVFF) soon to be disbursed by the Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), may get up to N3.92 billion.

The Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services at NIMASA, Hon. Ibrahim Zailani, who disclosed this in an exclusive interview with LEADERSHIP WEEKEND yesterday in Lagos, said the process of disbursement of the CVFF has begun, with four disbursement banks already appointed by NIMASA now appraising applications from the local shipping companies.
