Nigeria: Lagos Assembly Sets Up Committee on Constitution Amendment

Ikeja — Lagos State House of Assembly, yesterday, set up a committee to draft the state memoranda for the constitutional amendment being proposed by the National Assembly.

Chairman of the committee is Mr Ajibola Adeyeye. The committee was set up by the Deputy Speaker, Mr Taiwo Kolawole, who presided over the day's sitting, after Adeyeye raised a motion on the advertorial by the Senate calling for memoranda towards the amendment of the 1999 Constitution.
