Egypt: 20.000 Feddans to Be Cultivated in Toshka
Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Mohamed Reda Ismail said on Wednesday 16/5/2012 that 20.000 feddans in Toshka project will be cultivated within weeks at LE 600 million cost for the first phase.
The minister pointed out that total land earmarked for agriculture are 100.000 feddans at LE 3 billion cost to be carried out by United Arab Emirates companies.
He underlined that Egypt is committed to conducting usufruct contracts for 50 years to serious investors.
