Zambia: Kulamba Slated for August 25

THIS year's Kulamba traditional ceremony of the Chewa-speaking people of Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique is expected to take place on August 25 at Mkaika village in Katete District.

Kulamba traditional ceremony organising committee secretary for invitation and publicity Lucas Phiri said in Chipata yesterday that all was set for this year's ceremony.

Mr Phiri said this year's event was expected to be more colourful while more chiefs from Malawi and Mozambique were expected to attend.
