Nigeria: Delta to Prosecute Youths, Community Leaders Over Restiveness

Warri — GOVERNOR Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has said that youths, communities and traditional rulers, who go about disrupting development projects in their communities while demanding development fees or settlement, will henceforth be prosecuted.

He said that the state government was set to instill discipline and evolve a system where towns in the state would henceforth be permanently kept clean and free of filth as obtainable in advanced countries, where people are prohibited by law from indiscriminately dumping refuse.
