Egypt: SCAF Probes Supplementary Constitutional Declaration

The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces yesterday 20/5/2012 discussed the supplementary constitutional declaration which is due to be issued for determining the powers of the president, the parliament, the government and the status of the armed forces until a new constitution has been drawn up.

The SCAF will be assisted by the views of the political powers, some of which have agreed on the adoption of a supplementary declaration. Some political parties said there is no need for a supplementary declaration.
