Angola: UNAC Urges More Arts in Schools

Luanda — The National Association of Artists and Composers (UNAC) has proposed the Ministry of Education to introduce more subjects related to arts and the concept of specialised school into the school curricula at all levels.

The information is contained in a note that reached Angop on Monday, saying the proposal is contained in the Steering Commission Declaration as part of the 30the anniversary of UNAC.

The note states that Angolan artists feel there is little training in the cultural-artistic domain.
