Nigeria: Suspected Bomber Arrested At Ministerial Briefing in Abuja

Security agents Monday morning arrested a suspected bomber at the Press Centre, venue of ministerial platform in Abuja. The person whose identity remains unknown reportedly came to the Radio House with high grade explosives and rounds of ammunition.

The briefings, which have been holding on a daily basis in the last two weeks, have been coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Information, as part of the preparations for Democracy Day 2012. It was put together for ministers to present their achievements in office since assumption of office.

The Ministers of Justice (Bello Adoke); Aviation (Stella Oduah); Youth Development and Sports (Bolaji Abdullahi) who were listed for Monday to present their scorecards, went ahead with their presentations in spite of the development.
