Huambo — The Secretary of State for Energy, Joaquim Ventura, is paying since Tuesday morning a 24-hour visit to the central Huambo province, to check the pace of the conclusion works for the rehabilitation of Ngove dam.
After his arrival in the region, Joaquim Ventura met at the protocol room of the Albano Machado airport with the vice governor for technical and infrastructures sector, José Paulo Kai, with whom he discussed in detail issues related to ongoing projects, aimed to improve the power supply network.
Then, both officials travelled to Ngove locality so as to check the last advances recorded in the recovery works of the dam.
According to his agenda, the Secretary of State will visit power sub-stations of Benfica and Belém in Huambo city, well as he will meet with staff of the provincial energy department and companies engaged in the recovery works of the Ngove dam and sub-stations.
