Angola: Coach Defines Team's Objectives in Pre-Olympics Tournament

Luanda — The coach of the Angolan national senior male basketball team, José Carlos Guimarães defined the qualification for London Olympics Games as the main objective of his squad in pre-Olympics tournament of Caracas (Venezuela), set for 2-8 July.

The coach said so to the press on Monday during the gathering of the summoned players at the headquarters of the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB).

He said that regardless the opponent, the continental vice champions want to qualify for London Olympic Games (England).

In pre-Olympic tournament, the national team comprises group D together with Macedonia and New Zealand.
