Candidates Abul Ezz Al-Hariri, Abdel Moneim Abul Fotouh and Amr Moussa cast their votes on Wednesday morning in Egypt's historic presidential elections, the first after the January 25 revolution.
In Alexandria, Al-Hariri voted at Ahmed Talaat Primary School in Moharram Bek area. He arrived early and stood in a queue of voters.
Abul Fotouh cast his vote in station (22) at Ibn Al-Nafees Preparatory School in Nasr City (North Cairo).
"Egyptians are choosing a servant today," Abul Fotouh stated after voting.
Moussa voted at Fatma Anan Preparatory School in New Cairo's fifth district after standing for two hours in a queue amidst heavy army and police security.
Moussa announced that he will accept the results in all cases. He called on everyone to respect the outcome as long as it stems from a fair, transparent electoral process.
